I bought so many fabrics that I had difficulties closing my suitcase and I was arguing with myself what other stuff to leave behind so that all the fabric would fit in!! Have fun with all these beauties!blockMquiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00629463470450884266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7311599214954370370.post-63614527055261522142015-07-30T17:36:32.305+02:002015-07-30T17:36:32.305+02:00amazing fabric print and design good postamazing fabric print and design good postAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15081954149064771285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7311599214954370370.post-23134619529359647792015-07-30T02:12:29.954+02:002015-07-30T02:12:29.954+02:00Love your facing east blocks!Love your facing east blocks!Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02950005795704227435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7311599214954370370.post-86119115457665351412015-07-29T18:55:03.955+02:002015-07-29T18:55:03.955+02:00I do buy fabris I like. If I want to make a quilt - I look through those and see what I can come up with - often I just additionally buy some fitting solids eg. background...<br />BTW: I love solids - even as a whole quilt (as you know)Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09648673968340281829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7311599214954370370.post-21337295982953072902015-07-29T14:44:54.399+02:002015-07-29T14:44:54.399+02:00Gorgeous additions!!! I tend to just go for what I like, not worrying about such trifling things as scale, color, value, etc. :D For me, it doesn't matter how good a basic or a blender is, if I don't like it, I won't use it. Luckily, my likes do tend to run the whole gamut, but there is a definite propensity for loud, bright, and quirky. Well, I guess I do, I just buy for each quilt as I make it. And then I don't finish it, but go buy for another quilt. Yep, that's a strategy all right.
